“Leave a Reply” is default title displayed at the top of comment form on WordPress site. While this looks fine, few users may want to change this title text to make it even more catchy and encourage users to add comment(s). “Share your views with us”, “What do you think about this”, “Got an opinion, why not share” – can be few more inspiring comment form titles to get user attention.
Custom comment form title post-wise in WordPress
1. Custom Comment Form Title plugin comes handy in this modification. Once you install, activate this plugin – goto Settings > Custom Comment Form Title option. Type new title text that you want to replace with default “Leave a Reply” text.
Refresh your post webpages to see new comment form title text in action. This plugin should work with majority of themes including theme frameworks like Genesis, Thematic.
2. To customize Comment Form Title text post-wise, open specific post in ‘edit’ mode. Scroll to bottom of editor and look for “Custom Comment Form Title” section. Type the text that you want to display as title for the post’s comment form.
This will over-ride the custom title text input as explained in step 1. Similarly, you can use this plugin functionality to customize Comment Form Title Text for every post article on your WordPress blog.
