Hide post title on pages in Genesis
Updated On May 23, 2015 August 19, 2012 -Written ByH1 Title on single posts is very important but on pages it can be optional. Since number pages in WordPress blog are less and only used for specific content like About, Contact – few users may want to hide display of title on pages of WordPress blog.
Genesis users can easily implement this using Genesis Title Toggle plugin. This allows you to turn off and hide title on selected or all pages in a Wordpres setup. After install, goto Genesis Settings – then click to check “By default, remove titles in the page post type” option to hide title on all pages.
Incase you want to hide title on specific pages, then look for title toggle option at the bottom of the editor for specific page. You can uncheck “By default, this post type is set to remove titles. This checkbox lets you show this specific page’s title” option to hide title or check it to show title on specific page. Handy, isn’t it?
Didn’t know you can do that in Genesis using the small plugin above. I came across this situation the other day when I needed to get rid of page titles on some “semi-landing pages” but not on the whole site.
but i wonder if this will affect seo ?
