Use the default RSS feed widget
WordPress by default comes with an RSS Feed widget which can be used for a basic listing of blog posts from an external website.
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Widgets.
- Look for RSS widget and drag into the widget area of your choice.
- Enter the RSS feed URL of the external website and configure other settings like the number of posts to display.

The default RSS feed URL of a WordPress based website is in this format domainDOTcom/feed/ (replace domainDOTcom with URL of the specific website).
More post display style options
If the default RSS feed widget is too basic for your requirements, then look for a plugin that fits your additional requirements. RSS Feed Widget plugin is a good option.

It allows you to display posts along with images and choose the number of words in the description text. There are also few styling options to make the posts display look cool.

If you are using a page builder for creating page layouts, you can use the default RSS widget and the above-mentioned plugin within page layouts in the exact same manner.
