By default, a blog page will display all posts irrespective of assigned category. Do you want to exclude specific category posts from showing up on the blog page? This is very easy to implement in the Genesis Framework setup.

Blog Page Template settings: Exclude Category

1. Go to Genesis > Theme Settings.
2. Expand the “Blog Page Template” section.

Exclude Category Posts from Genesis Blog Page

3. Enter Category ID in the “Exclude the following Category IDs”. For example, in the screenshot posts from one category has been excluded. You can enter multiple Category IDs seperated by a comma.
4. Click the Save Changes button and now the Blog Page will not show posts from specified categories.
