Show Google+ Badge like Facebook Like Box in WordPress

Facebook Like Box has very practical user interface showing number of likes along with thumbnail photos of users. Google recently released new look Google+ badge widget – which is quite different and pleasing. We have already seen display of Twitter Followers box in the format of Facebook Like box and now here is something similar for Google+ badge widget with looks of Facebook Like Box.

Google+ Plus Badge similar to Facebook Like Box

Google+ Badge like FB Like Box plugin allows you to implement this in few simple clicks. Install and activate this plugin and then goto Appearance > Widgets section on your WordPress blog.

Then drag Google+ Badge to widget area of your choice (like sidebar). Enter your Google+ ID, widget title name and select height – width of the widget box. Google+ ID is a long number at the end of your Google+ page URL.

Click Save and preview your website. You should see neat looking Google+ badge widget very similar to Facebook Like box. Depending your website layout, you can customize and fine tune width – height settings as per requirement. For sure a cool way to display Google+ goodness on WordPress website.
