I have been using Wave apps for a long time now. My friend Erica is partial to Quickbooks and Xero. I think Wave might be weaker on the accounting part.

I think that is where you run into the issue, accounting.

I’ve been using Freshbooks for about six years now. I love the product and I love their customer support.

I’m a real fan of Pancake App. I’ve been using it for about 4 years and it’s never missed a beat.

It’s SO much more than invoicing though. Time tracking, tasks, team management, project interactions with clients, support tickets etc etc.

Yep, for a geeky bunch – pancake is a worthy option!

+1 for Freshbooks. I’m still on Freshbooks classic. I’ll be happy when it all gets ported over to the new UI. :)

Davinder, one system which may be of use to those providing a subscription/monthly service (or even just annually or once off) is WHMCS. Whilst it was originally designed for web hosts using cpanel’s WHM (Web Host Management) it can be used for all sorts of things.
    Cheers. :)
