By default, WordPress display article publishing date at bottom (or top) of posts and pages. If you often update old posts on WordPress website, then there must be mechanism to display date on which article was updated. While there is a manual way to write “update date” within post content but this can be time consuming. In this case, you can implement automatic method of displaying article update date along with article publish date.

‘WP Last Modified’ plugin to display update date

WP Last Modified plugin allows you to display article update date and publish date simultaneously. It automatically adds article update date at start or end of post contents (as per settings.)
