If you have WordPress powered profile website or blog and actively use LinkedIn for networking – then showing LinkedIn profile badge on your website is a good idea. 1. Use manual code to display LinkedIn profile badge
Open the LinkedIn Developers page to generate required code. For start, type or paste your LinkedIn profile URL and you should see real time preview of your LinkedIn profile badge. Then select among three display modes: inline, icon / name and icon. The “inline” mode looks best out of these options.
Select “show” or “hide” option for displaying connections at bottom of your LinkedIn profile badge. Once all configured, click “Get Code” button and copy the displayed code. Now open WordPress Dashboard and goto Appearance > Widgets area. Drag text widget to any specific widget area like sidebar and paste the copied code in it. Your LinkedIn profile widget will start displaying in that area of WordPress website.
