Manually delete Post Revision instances in WordPress

Now you can easily browse post revision instances and even compare them for quick restore to any point. You can also tame and control maximum number of revision instances that WordPress should create for posts and pages. While Post Revision points are easily created automatically by WordPress, deleting them is not easy unless you setup manual method for deleting post revision instances.
Delete Posts Revision points manually in WordPress
To get started, install WP Revision Request plugin and activate it. Then goto ‘edit’ mode of old post which already has saved post revision points. Look for Revisions section under post editor, click to expand it. Revisions section will display history of all saved Post Revision instances for the specific post.
Besides the usual restore option, it also displays option to delete any saved Post Revision instance. If you have been writing and editing a long blog post – lot of revision points might have been created. This should come handy in deleting and removing “not required” Post Revision instances and keeping things clean – what say?
This plugin also adds option to create Revision point on demand. Look for ‘Create new Revision‘ option in the “Publish” section at top right side of the post editor.
